I love my chair. Quick ship, nothing damaged, very comfortable. I went to Frys and sat in the Arrozzi chairs and like 6 others.. no comparison. I'm 5'7 and 160lbs. Fits me well. Great looking and a lot more cushioned than other chairs this style.

Great Chair, super comfy. Great price super fast shipping.

Awesome price, nice build quality, and very comfortable. Make sure to Check if the size fits you. The sides of the seat comes up, so if you have a wide build or are heavier, this would not be comfortable, but I think hey have the bigger version. I got a couple of stitchings loose on my chair, but not a big deal would not take off a star from the score. Over all I am really happy with the chair.

Assembly was pretty straightforward. Much more comfortable than the home office chair it replaces. It's also more comfortable than the chair in my non-home office. Good posture has never been so comfortable or effortless. My only "complaint" would be the loud embroidery; I'd prefer none or a stealthy black on black. Bottom line, this is not just a great chair for the money, it's a great chair.

I love my new chair. This is my first racing-style gaming chair so I don't have much to compare it to, but it blows my old office chair away. Quality is good, shipping was ultra fast (arrived two weeks before expected ship date), and honestly I can't imagine a better chair for the price. My only gripe, as others have mentioned, is that the arm rests don't seem to lock a "side to side" position. This is a small complaint, however, and everything else about the chair has been great. Join the next drop, without hesitation! Thanks Massdrop and AKRacing.

Super comfortable, easy to assemble, shipping beat expectations by a month. 10/10 - Great job Massdrop and AKRacing!

There isn't a better chair for the money. You can easily spend more money on a worse chair and I really don't think you can spend less money and get a better chair. The build quality is outstanding. It really is a premium chair. My only complaint, and its one that has been mentioned before, is that the arm rests don't seem to lock. They pivot and slide back and forth without locking into place. There are even buttons that you can press that should "unlock" its position but they dont lock into place anyway making the button useless from what I can tell. Still for the money it deserves full 5 stars. call it a 4.9

The buttons allow you to pull the armrests inward when you press them. I did not even see the buttons at first.

Yeah just tried it you are right. Still a shame they don't lock

I am happy with my chair. One thing I'm not a fan of is the arm rests they are constantly moving. There's not enough tension in the arm rests they move when you place your arm on them.

This chair is extremely comfortable and well built. I can't believe I only paid $250 for this amazing chair. You seriously can't pass that price up, considering what you're getting. If you have the money, I definitely recommend grabbing this comfortable ass-throne.

Don't know how this passed qc, but stuff happens, everything else seemed fine so far, this is my first drop and everything went pretty smoothly. This chair is definitely pretty comfortable and it matches my setup. The $250 price tag was worth it for me, but I wouldn't pay anything over that. For that price you can find a lot of comparable chairs like dxracers or secret labs on sale. I gotta warn people tho if you're short like me the neck pillow won't do much, and the white model's lumbar pillow is not adjustable by straps.

For the price that I got it which is around $250 it is worth it.

I'm 5'10, 135lbs and I love this chair. I used to always slouch a bit while gaming and but this chair has kept me sitting straight which is probably better for my back. I worried that a stiffer seat would make my butt sore, but this seat has actually been really comfortable and I've been able to sit in it for way longer periods of time than my old chair. For myself, the width is easily sufficient to allow me to scoot around a bit too. The recline function is wonderful for when I want to take a quick break from homework and it's actually so comfortable that I've slept the night in my chair when I've had guests over. I currently don't use the neck or lumbar pillow as the neck one doesn't let me sit up as straight and I sort of like having my head farther back. The lumbar pillow just didn't fit my back too well as my back is pretty flat and spiny so it's more comfortable to have just up against the straight back of the chair. Overall, assembly with a single person was fairly simple and took maybe 30 minutes max. I would definitely recommend this chair as I use it sometimes for 12+ hours a day when grinding homework and games and it still feels good.

I bought the Arctica version sight unseen in the last drop and was so impressed that I just ordered a second one for my 2-person home office. I'm 5'8", 160 lbs and a gym rat, and this chair has the right amount of height adjustment and padding density for hours of comfortable sitting. The curved seat flanges (I'm sure that's not the proper term) are perfect for someone of my size, as is the seat back. While it doesn't have 3-inch wheels, it still glides easily on my carpeted floor.
It's very well built and the Arctica design looks sophisticated and elegant. Amazon has it right now for $469, so the Massdrop price is quite the bargain. Note that it does not have those "shoulder cavities" for routing the lumbar cushion suspenders, but that's actually a positive for me because it makes the chair look less "gamey" (I am not a gamer).

This is my second AK racing chair. I wanted a higher neck rest and this is perfect. It was easy to assemble and extremely comfortable . I may get a 3rd one for work. No back issues since I started using AK racing chairs.

6'2", 150lbs. This chair is perfect for me. I did a lot of research on different gaming chairs and decided to get this one as soon as it hit Massdrop. Very easy to assemble and I can't think of one complaint. Its adjustable as hell, different pillows for extra support, sit in it any way you want. There are tons of choices out there for different gaming chairs and to be fair, the big gaming chair companies aren't really that different at the end of the day, but this is a great chair for someone who is tall and hits all other marks of quality from there. I'm sure its also fine for someone who isn't as tall as well, but short chairs don't work as well for tall people.

6ft, big thighs. As other reviewers have mentioned your legs are pressed against the raised sides. I didn't think it would be an issue before I bought, but it definitely detracts from the overall comfort. Assembly was straightforward, and quality of the chair seems pretty good. However, there was a large hole punctured into my box and one of the leg spokes looks to have been scraped by something hard. I'm assuming during packing or transit that something stabbed through the cardboard and raked across the leg so it's not smooth anymore in that 1 area. Not a big deal enough to return as the rest of the chair is good.

They have wider options available.

"Constructed with a steel frame and stain-resistant PU leather, it’s ergonomically shaped to support gamers of all sizes."
My ass, literally.
I'm 6'7 280, and I should have done a lot more research before picking a chair, learn from my mistake please.
I simply looked at the weight restriction "330lbs" and the 2nd line in the description "it’s ergonomically shaped to support gamers of all sizes" and fired off the order button because I was so tired of my old $40 Staples chair.
Also the "premium" Arctic model I purchased doesn't have any way to support the lumbar pillow like it does in the other models so it just kinda sits there. Oops.
With regards to weight, the chair is an absolute tank, I wouldn't worry about it at all. In fact, anyone pushing anywhere remotely close to the 330 limit won't even be able to break the chair, BECAUSE THEY WON'T BE ABLE TO SIT IN IT.
The seat width is 15 fucking inches, that's pretty tight to " shaped to support gamers of all sizes". But it gets even worse because of the absurd racer ridge cupping border whatever you call it bullshit on the sides of the chair. This "feature" ensures that you are unable to spread your legs and feel pain on each side of your leg within 3 minutes of sitting in the chair from the pressure of the side of your legs pushing into the side frame of the seat.
I went back to my years old Staples chair.
This is also the only product I have purchased on MassDrop that I haven't liked so I looked for return options. Turns out you can't return items on MassDrop. Also oops. Hopefully will be able to sell this one on Craigslist without taking too much of a loss.
TLDR, the the build quality appears to be outstanding, the chair is well built. But get a model like https://www.massdrop.com/buy/massdrop-x-akracing-aero-gaming-chair instead of anything with the support on the sides if you are not child sized. Or better yet just a regular ergonomic office chair. Having finally owned one of these "racer" models I can tell you there's a reason you don't see this style chair in offices. They are uncomfortable.

Sitting in the chair now. Simple assembly and can be done with one person. (Of course easier with two people.) I am 6ft 1 in 210lbs and it is comfortable. Wish it had more up and down range as well as forward and back tilt. The back can adjust almost horizontal so much so you can fall backwards in it. Pretty fun ;)
Side panel came cracked so it could use some better packaging in shipping.

First and foremost, my experience with customer service was great. They resolved a piece of cracked plastic by sending a replacement part immediately at no extra cost (occurred during shipping, of course).
Second, my tri-color model chair has shown no color fade or visible wear after months of use. I have no rips in stitching or broken zippers/zip-lining. Wheels and base has no issues, as well. Quality has held up.
Third, the seat comfort is on the firmer and narrower end of the computer chair spectrum. If you're seeking a plush, recliner like experience on the cheeks look elsewhere. The chair remains fairly comfortable after long gaming sessions, but the flat seat can demand a bit of stretching now and again. I haven't had issues with poor blood circulation in the legs.
Fourth, I knocked a star off this chair for two reasons. One, the straps for the head cushion and back rest has no design implemented to hide the straps. You can see them run top to bottom along the back . If the point of a "racing style" chair is to look aggressive and sporty you can't forget details like that. I understand its hard to get quality at a low price. For this reason and the fact that the seat is fairly flat, I only docked a single star.
Overall, great value and customer service. It's a solid product at the right cost considering what the market typically runs at. If you have any additional questions feel free to reach out.

The fit and finish are great. The chair has held up very well over time. The only caveat is for people with wide hips. The side wings on the chair push in on your outer thighs fairly significantly and may cause discomfort in your hips over time with prolonged use. If you are beefy you might want to look for a chair with a wider seat.

Thank you for your review. I would like to emphasize your comment about the side bolsters on the seat. They are there to support the lower body over long periods. However, bigger people should not buy this chair, it will be uncomfortable. As I have said elsewhere in the review area, we do not market this model as a big and tall chair. People who need that should wait for the drops of either our Pro model, which is perfect for taller people because it is deeper and also has a wider seat but with the side bolsters, or our Max chair which is wider and has a flat seat and is rated for users up to 400 lbs.
The Premium is our best selling chair, not just here at Massdrop but in general and there are thousands of satisfied users.

The seat cushion is very hard, so it hurts to sit for more than an hour - I'm a long, skinny guy, so that does contribute. The head/neck cushion and lumbar cushion are both way to big to be useful. The rest of the chair is well-constructed and sturdy - the casters are smooth, and the chair is well-balanced on the swivel.

Like many others, I find the chair well made, but the seat pinches the legs and is slightly uncomfortable. Additionally, I also tend to get a little tenderness in my tailbone area... after 6-8 hours. If the seat were just a little wider I would have given it 4 stars, add a slightly softer seat and it would be 5

Im about 6’1 180lbs and this chair really supports me, the armrests arent the best, I honestly think they should be softer. The main issue I have had is staining on the white, make Sure your aware of this before you pick your color because it will change based on what pants you wear.
