How does this compare to the AK-9011 chair available on Amazon today? What is the width/depth measurements for the actual FLAT part of the seat? Do you have any diagrams with dimensions? Does this chair have a normal rocking tilt, or only tilt if you pull the leaver?

NeoMatrixJRNeoMatrixJR, The AK-9011 is a chair that falls in between the Premium Series that we are offering and the ProX Series that we are offering in this drop. The ProX is AKRacing's top of the line chair. You can find a complete dimensions chair of the chair here. http://akracing.co/product/akracing-prox-gaming-chair-red/
This chair has both Rock/Tilt and you can also lay down the back support via the lever on the chair while the Rock/Tilt is locked or unlocked.
I have built many different gaming chairs (about 30 or so at this point) from many different vendors and I have to say I am most impressed with the build quality and attention to detail on the ProX series chairs by AKRacing. It is what I am sitting in right now (yes, I have officially retired my DXRacer Iron Series chair at this point) so if anyone has anymore questions about the chair I can probably answer them.
Here is a pic of my current setup.

AKRacingSupportThanks, and thanks extra for pointing out the dimensions at the site. It looks like the flat part of the seat only comes out at about 17.3" wide...my current "el cheapo" office store chair is about 20" wide. I'm a big guy at 6'2"/315lbs...I'm probably tipping the top of that chair and debating if I should go this route or not. El Cheap is in BAD need of replacement and most high-end chairs are > $500.... I've never sat a gamer/racer chair like this (except one of the cheap plastic floor rocker ones long ago) and I'm not sure if I'll like the hugging sides. The lumbar support would be nice. Also, if you've owned that many I've seen some with standard tilt and some with a "knee" tilt mechanism. Is there any pro/con of that design vs. this one? Having that many chairs...do you have any recommendation on what chair would be best for a big guy (or should I avoid the "gaming" chair arena? I game on occasion, but I just like the styling and it's for personal use so I can use anything....except another el cheapo. I have a franken-el-cheapo made from two busted-assed chairs. No more cheapos!

NeoMatrixJRActually, This is the largest gaming style chair that I have seen. Your right the inner width measurement on this is about 17 1/3" and the outer width is 21 1/4" which you would have some access to that as the side wings are lower on the front half than the back of the chair.
Something that is not shown very well by the measurements is the length of the seat. I am 6'4" and about 210lbs. I have a 35" inseam. This is the first chair I have sat in where it supports the full length of my thigh. When I sit in the chair properly my entire upper leg is supported by the chair which is really nice.
I am not worried about the weight capacity of this chair as it can support 330lbs. (and honestly probably alot more than that) Also due to how long the seat is and the fact the the wings actually lower down all the way out to the end of the chair which would allow you to spread your legs and relax.
The best thing about this chair is the foam density is high enough that it will not degrade over time and better yet is the fact that it does have a 5 year warranty on the chair and 10 years on the frame. I can tell you that AKRacing is serious about giving the best warranty support of any chair manufacturer so if you have any problems I feel confident that they will be there for you.
I will leave it up to you but I think that you would enjoy this chair.
Cheers.

AKRacingSupport" This is the first chair I have sat in where it supports the full length of my thigh."
Unfortunately this is the part of Clutch Chairz Shift series I got just over a week ago that's now starting to take its toll on my legs. The lack of full thigh support is putting pressure on my inner thighs and starting to cause severe discomfort :( Seems my quest for a gaming chair continues....huge bummer.
Hopefully if/when this chair drops again it'll be available for Canada.
