I don’t mind a busy dial so long as the hands, registers and indices/numerals are clearly visible in a design. Here the design seems like a hodgepodge of different watches and my eyes don’t fix onto anything on the dial.
inconsistencies/issues:
> date track is exposed under the minute register but not the other registers. I think exposing the date track would have been ok if they kept the date track apart from the registers.
> tachymeter is squished against edge of the dial Put the tachymeter on the bezel.
> The pilot hands are too short. The black outline of the hands make them appear smaller and reduces contrast against the dial. Use longer solid white or bright colored hands
> Arabics - the fonts don’t look good. Clashes with brand logo font. Ditch the arabics. applied indices would improve symmetry around the major minute track (then the cog motif would be more coherent on the dial).
- Day/Date frame doesn’t work here. It should be recessed under the dial, no frame required. Or just ditch it and reduce costs.
My guess is that this watch was created from very different watch parts from different watch suppliers. Hope they make improvements in the future.
