DetexQuick search on amazon, there are a lot of similar chairs, different brands, but the chair is pretty much the same.

mp551Note the difference in weight. The Massdrop brand is less than 1lb the amazon is 2.5 lbs. The later is not suitable for backcountry backpacking. 2.5 lbs is not 'lightweight' by my definition as hiker. My guess is the use of the word falls under a gray area as weight is relative to the user. Buyer beware.

mp551Compared to retail prices in Canada this chair is approximately $20 - 25 dollars cheaper. Not sure about U.S. retail comparison.

Happily-MeThis chair doesn't weight less than 1lb, description states 816g which is 1.8lb. Here is another chair that weights under 2lb according to description.
