Well...I actually love this chair as something additional in my quiver of camping/backpacking equipment. Unfortunately, the cross leg in the front/bottom broke within minutes of my not-heavy 13 yr old trying it out in our home. Luckily, Alite customer service was absolutely amazing and replaced it very quickly, even over-nighted it. I then took it on an 8 night backpacking trip in Wyoming and after a few days something different broke on the same piece. So...I am sorry to say my experience is that this chair may not hold up well if you are around 200 pounds. I am sure Alite will replace the pieces broken but I haven't contacted them yet.

pjwinnI had the same issue. Broke three legs. I’m a materials engineer by trade and I explained to them the problem and they were super greatful and two weeks later got a replacement that was better made. I’ve used it extensively since then and its been great. I would reach out to them! I believe they solved the issue.
