The Allegory Story
Allegory Handcrafted Goods, based in Chicago, Illinois, is a small company dedicated to making products from smart-sourced, sustainable materials. The Etch Journal is lined with organic cotton canvas and fits the included pocket Moleskine or Fieldnotes notebooks like a glove. The journals also have two pockets for IDs, business cards, or credit cards.
Note: At check-out, you can select the color from Black or Coffee, and a 3-Pack of pocket-size notebooks with Ruled paper from Moleskine or Field Notes. You can also add optional 3-packs of original kraft Field Notes notebooks with Graph, Ruled, Plain, or Mixed paper, or one of the Pitch Black, or Expedition editions (+ $9.95).
Leather from Down Under
Kangaroo leather is known for being soft and thin, yet and strong and forming to the shape of a pocket or pen as it's carried over time. All of these qualities make it a preferred leather for professional baseball gloves and soccer (football) cleats, in addition to being arguably the most sustainably-harvested leather available.
