Call me paranoid but no RFID protection? Seems basic to me to put an RFID protection in your passport cover especially when a lot of passports are biometric.

Mikey_SoloWe could work something like that up, the challenge is that in order to consistently provide the protection, you need to use the RFID blocking fabric to create a Faraday cage around the item, any openings create the potential for the protection to fail. Many products use RFID fabric and claim to protect without the proper construction to actually do so. All that to say, we could create an RFID blocking passport case, but it would need to function like a sleeve. If you think there's demand for something like that we'll discuss it with the massdrop team and see what we can come up with.

AllegoryGoodsThere definitely is a demand, and from the tests I have seen, all you need is to line the outer layer on the inside. The risk is people stealing your ID in a crowd etc. If the signal is so poor you have to place the scanner on the wallet directly, you have done your job. You have an advisory to use Rfid blocking sleeves when you get a new passport in my country, it's beginning to be an essential feature for a passport wallet.

consolationThere's not just demand, there's a need. Security is becoming a more important issue than ever and as such, I'm not buying any non-RFID wallet anytime soon.
