Hi all, Thanks for being part of this drop! We're working on all your orders. The shipping deadline is February 22, and we will post here if there are going to be any delays. We craft and ship all our products from our Chicago-area workshop, but Massdrop is responsible for purchasing and tracking the postage. If you have questions about tracking, arrival time-frame, etc. their team are the ones to contact. If once you receive your order, you have questions or issues, please contact us at service@allegorygoods.com. We have a lifetime, no questions asked guarantee on ALL our products. We want you to absolutely LOVE all the stuff we make, and we won't stop until that's the case. We'll be able to much more quickly address any of those issues or questions if you reach out directly to us at our service email (service@allegorygoods.com), as opposed to posting here on the boards or going through Massdrop customer service. With as many drops as we are fortunate to run through Massdrop it can become difficult for us to make sure to respond to every customer note on the boards. And, since it saves everyone some time, we're happy work with you directly so that Massdrop support team doesn't have to act as a go-between. We hope you love your new Allegory gear!

This looks like a pretty fantastic product but I'm a bit reluctant to purchase due to the fact that - at least to my perception - it requires that you pretty much put the bag "upside-down" if you wish to have it hooked onto your belt horizontally. If there were another carabiner attach location rather than having to use the snaps (which normally I would prefer to have the bag oriented so that the snaps face towards the bottom, but because it seems that in order to orient it sideways one must use one of the snaps to hold a carabiner, that doesn't really work. I attached a picture where I think another attachment location would be useful, perhaps for a further iteration of the product? I would almost certainly make the purchase in that case.

KizunaThanks for the feedback. We definitely designed this holster to be oriented vertically but we are always looking for new ways iterate on existing products or make new ones! Stay tuned! And be sure to be in touch at service@allegorygoods.com if you want us to customize one of our existing pieces for you in the mean time. Thanks! Jess

darkpanaceaThanks for posting this! I wish I'd seen this a day earlier! I do like it a lot better than the Allegory EDC wallet that I have now, so I'll get it next time that it comes around. Thanks again!

I see a question unanswered. What is the size of that holster on the back, will an iPhone X fit in it?

The X is going to fit, I think it's 3.1 inches. It's meant for case-less Phablets, but it's tight or not workable with larger cases, maybe something really thin as a case would work. Cased and large non-phablet phones fit nicely, like this big Blackberry Priv. Elastic is almost 4 inches wide: 3 and 3/4 inches and 6 and 3/4 deep. https://youtu.be/STEZW8YPanc

So I received my holster. I can't fault the workmanship and leather. It's very nice! However I was a little disappointed/ underwhelmed with the design. I must have misread the measurements as the holster is a lot bigger than thought (my fault). However given the size I felt that there was a lot of wasted space. Only 4 card holders on one side of the internal section (and yes which as it's elastic can expand to take multiple cards). The other side is completely bare. Not even a pocket to slide a thin notebook into or even a few more card slots. The minimalistic design could have been achieved with it half it's size however you would potentially lose the phone holding capacity. Basically this is just a large mobile phone holster/holder which clips onto a belt or bag. Unless you wear cargos I can't see this fitting into a pocket. Still a nice product though which many will find more suitable to their needs than i did.

I wanted to upload some first day pics. One caveat, I've added a carabiner to make a creative new double loop system. Fits perfectly in my back jeans pocket vertically. At first I tried stuffing this thing with everything I owned, then I realized, wait, with this design I can eliminate my wallet, get minimal. I like how it can flip up to get to the elastic dump pouch or zipper, like a two for one pack. There's a a lot of different ways to run it, it was a lot of fun reconfiguring my system. And no wallet bulge to sit on or stretch my front pocket. I really love how soft this leather is too, surprising texture.

I can't believe the price, a bifold from Allegory is well worth it at $100+.
