I have this watch by the way and it’s excellent. Nearly perfect but just a tad bit thick.

tully.hendersoni also own an alpiner chrono with the blue dial ( AL-750N4E6B ). it's a beautiful piece that gets regular compliments when i wear it. keeps great time! also agree that it is somewhat thick -- it's definitely leaning towards a sports watch rather than a pure dress watch -- but i don't have any issues with it when wearing a dress shirt.

happyjack92Yeah I have the black dial version without the bracelet and it’s definitely a dressy sports watch but it’s very versatile. I have had a few problems wearing this with dress shirts or jackets that have a lot of elastic keeping it tight but that’s it. I paired it with a black 22mm Buffalo Leather strap on a stainless steel deployant clasp and it supports its weight very well.

happyjack92Lovely watch. The thickness comes from the Valjoux, main reason why I'm not getting myself a chronograph - I like the looks of the dial but don't really need one and my chicken wrist doesn't care for a chunky case-. Enjoy yours, it looks great on your larger-than-mine wrist!

tully.hendersonI have this watch as well (blue face) and love it. It is slightly thick, but the case and saphire lense step back at the top which makes the overall feel less "blocky" and thus reduces the perception of bulk. I have small wrists (6.75) and this wears fine. The chrono functions work well and the buttons provide good tactile feedback when pressed. Overall an excellent piece.
