I have wide flat feet and usually wear NEW BALANCE for running. How do these TORIN 2.5 compare?? Like the tox box idea? Please share experience? Love new balance but can be pricey!

radioguy89The width of these shoes is great, I exclusively wear Altras. The thing that may not work for everyone is the zero drop feature. The heel and ball of the foot are level. Most shoes have at least an 8mm or greater drop between the heel and toe. It doesn't work for everyone.

radioguy89 The toe box in these shoes make them very comfortable for those of us with flippers for feet. I wear altras for running. Makes my running much more comfortable.

radioguy89You might check our the Altra Paradigm as the they have the widest toe box of the Altra line. Not all Altra's have the same width toe box. Otherwise you may need to resort to thinner insoles and or thinner socks.

radioguy89i have wide ball and toes but narrow heels; my PT says i have the flattest feet she's ever seen! you can easily swap the insole for orthotics if you need to, but i found them to be quite supportive. these are the ONLY non-sandal (love my Vionics) my toes feel really good in. i think you'll probably be very happy with them.
