Can this watch play music directly to bluetooth headphones, or only control music playing from a smartphone?

The watch has 4GB total storage, about 2GB are available for music/media storage which equals about 500 songs or 27 hours of music stored on the watch itself, no phone needed. You can then pair the watch directly to Bluetooth earbuds, headphones or speakers. I have tested many BT earbuds here in the office as well as our Jawbone Big Jambox speaker with no issues. The watch music controls are the basic play, pause, skip forward or backward. But your phone is not needed in this equation.
