CrookidI came into MassDrop because someone pointed me to an alternative semi-crowdfunding platform that has Amber's Dice available for sale, out of curiosity to see how her dice is faring now and also to check out other stuff on offer here.
Then:
(a) saw HammerHand continuing to post the same stuff he regurgitates across other Drops from CRL AND in all of CRL and Amber's KS projects, so I took it upon myself to try and even the playing field, while promoting Amber's metal gaming dice which I obviously own and am bery satisfied with.
(b) I didn't see anything I wanted among the drops available, so I started a poll for metal spinning tops, which is among one of my current obsessions right now, on top of other EDC (beads, tools etc.)
I'd give my real name, but then Hammerhand and his benefactor don't really identify themselves openly and don't play fair when trying to smear CRL and Amber's name with drivel, so I don't intend to do the same. And safe to say, while I may be new to MassDrop, I'm not so new in Kickstarter and have pledged for over US$7k in crowdfunding money. Being from Malaysia, I can tell you that translates to a significant amount of money I invested in my currency. :)
And that doesn't even include the more recent mass purchases of EDC and custom commissions of stuff i got off FB :)

First, I don't think the person giving fair warning to the community about the seller is wrong. MassDrop already takes quite a bit to get purchases to their destination and with the high prices (for dice although made of high quality material), I think people have a right to know if there is even a chance it will take longer than normal. Which, like I said, already takes quite a bit.
Second, the poster didn't really criticize the family. If it is a family business where other immediate members of said family was involved in a similar campaign that possessed issues; I also think people have the right to know.
Third, as a person who loves to defend businesses or products I believe in, I can empathize with the defendant. However, it does come across fishy that the account was created solely to comment here or view this product especially when you already own all of them. That actually makes it doubly suspicious because not many own that expensive set so you very well could be associated with the creator.
All in all, only time will tell. If you are associated with the creator and were looking for a clean slate, I can appreciate that. However, you are probably best off being honest and up front about it. I'm not accusing you, I'm just saying.
I look forward to buyer's reviews of this item. If good, I will likely sign up for the next one.
