By now, most of the orders should have arrived with some still in transit. We hope the gaming dice you purchased has proven to be worth the wait.
Nevertheless, the extended delay experienced by most of the participants within the campaign is still very undesirable. And we've been working with Amber Rix on a compensation that's fair. I am happy to let everyone know that Amber would like us to offer a $5 partial refund for everyone that's affected by the delay. The partial refund is already processed, and should settled within your payment account within the next 24-48 hours.
Cheers!

Apologies for the delay on the update for this one. Our tracker did not alert us on this drop as it should, and the update slipped through the crack as a result.
We were able to get an update from Amber earlier today on the status of the remaining orders. The production of the dice will be completed by Monday, and she will have the remaining orders ready for shipment by Tuesday and Wednesday.
We will be following up with her first thing next week to make sure everything is still on track from her end.
Expect an update from us on 1/14 or sooner if something comes up.

To echo Iacoizumi, I don't really care if things take a while (especially for high quality semi-custom stuff like this). BUT, I do like to be kept up to date and get updates when I was told they would be given (with maybe a 24hr or so grace period).
I don't expect you guys to be perfect, but I expected more than this. :-(
@Iacoizumi: yeah, we seem to have some weird timing going on here.

Any update on these? Did Amber get the required machining time?

RZR_LZRSeems like you and I tend to check back on our orders around the same time. Still no delivery.
@nelson: 63 days since I placed my order. 56 days since I was charged for my order. 31 days since a tracking number was created for my order. 24 days since the first missed update deadline. And now 5 days since the second missed update deadline.
I consider myself to be pretty patient when it comes to group buys, but the lack of professionalism and timely, transparent updates concerning this order have been unbelievably discouraging. Even Round 5 (which I joined exactly twelve months ago tomorrow and has seen repeated delays) which is managed by a single member of Deskthority's community has been better handled than this.

We received an update on the status of this order earlier from Amber. Unfortunately, due to the holiday volume at the machine shop as well as several last minute high priority government contracts, Amber lost the machine hours that was originally allocated for this order. While she was able to complete and ship out quite a few orders before the holidays, most of the order have to be delayed as a result.
We are waiting for Amber to get back to us on the revised estimated shipping date for the remaining outstanding orders. We will update everyone here as soon as we do.
We sincerely apologize for this unexpected delay on your order, and we appreciate your patience while the order is being prepared. However, if you prefer to not to wait and want to cancel the order altogether, just reply to this email at support@massdrop.com, and we will take care of your request right away.
Expect an update from us on 12/31 or sooner if something comes up.

nelsonNormally even a reply of "we have no news" is totally acceptable. A week after the latest deadline, this is getting frustrating. If I didn't want these silly little cubes so bad, I would have cancelled my order. It would be nice to get a message stating that nothing is happening, as opposed to radio silence.

Same status here, extremely disappointing that either Amber Rix, or MassDrop thinks people are that easily fooled or misled by the creation of a shipping label, but no actual package is sent for 2 weeks or more. The shipping label should only be created when the box is being readied for actual placement into the USPS mail stream. Anything else is just a poor attempt at a head fake or to buy more time. I'm sure most people would just prefer to have the straight story, give me the real shipping date, even if it turns out to be a delay from the original projection. People can handle the truth, but they have little patience for BS and outright lies. Almost definitely my first and last MassDrop, or for that matter Amber Rix purchase.
