Is it just me, or was the cam used before? The package seems was opened, and cannot login the camera with default username and password... Really disappointed, if it is an old item or second hand why don't mention it in the description?

Having discoloration issues with one of the cameras. One has a reddish/orange tint while the other is completely normal. Anyone else having this issue?

Does this come packaged with software to be able to record the video to your own local hard drive or is it remote view/store only?

I love this camera. I haven't had any issues with it since picking it up on Amazon last summer in order to keep an eye on my puppy when I'm not home. Night vision is nice, and the app isn't bad. Not everything is perfect but then again I wasn't expecting every high end feature in a cam that cost ~$70!

The product is absolutely buggy, pathetic user interface and works intermittently at best. You get what you paid for. I hope Massdrop or the seller will provide some recourse in returning this item. Things that are broken:
- Impossible to connect to WiFi. I have read & performed their instructions numerous times, spending over 5 hours trying to get this to work. No luck at all. - SD card recording failure. This is where I really lost it. I was expecting an apartment inspection and had everything setup the previous night to record any transgressions. I tested it and though recording worked fine, the SD card would not always be detected by the camera. Tried different SD cards too (brands and capacity). But, I hoped for the best and waited for the inspection. The camera detected motion and I was able to view it live. But, once I got home and tried to pull the recording, nothing.
Avoid the product if you are really interested in using it for monitoring. Right now, all it does is provide a live view when it's WIRED directly to my router.

Anyone have any experience linking this up with an NVR? Any special requirements/specs? I'm looking to set up 4 of these indoors with 4 outdoor cams. Price is good enough here vs. Amazon (woot for good MD deals!) that I could build my setup ala carte vs. a turn key option I've seen online, and have the added features of pan/tilt on the indoor cams at least

Hi guys, I've just received the camera but have failed to make it work, some advise please? I've plugged it via cable, the light was suppose to turn green after like 10seconds or so, but mine stays orange & never turn green, connecting via wifi have failed as well after entering the correct password for 2.4Ghz wifi, P2P have failed as well, and my network is fine, other device connected to the same network can access internet with no problem, is it the camera's problem? or maybe I'm doing it the wrong way?
I even try connecting through web access, registered a amcrest view account, click "Add device", after manually entered the S/N of device and click ok, it always said in red [Invalid S/N, be sure to enable P2P device]....anyone have the same problem?

SWmoHow long did you wait for it to turn green? Mine takes significantly longer than 30 seconds to initialize. You can't scan the QR code or enter the S/N until it's ready. If it's still not working, have you tried using ethernet rather than wifi?
