I presume it's one of the old, weird measurements that we strangely still use. But each ounce is about 1/64th inch. As an example, 4 oz leather is about 1/16".
The "gold" buckle is variously described as, well, "gold," which generally makes me think plated steele, and brass.
Is the "gold" buckle made from solid brass?
jbowenHey sorry for the confusion. Yes the buckles and the rivets are solid brass. The gold color is natural brass and the silver color is nickel plated brass.
FluidDataOn this belt you cannot change out the buckle. However, we do have another belt that we sell on Massdrop called the Working Man's Belt and that does have this capability.
How does the leather quality differ from the working man's belt? In particular, I'd like to know whether the belt is thinner and the belt thus more pliable. Or is this basically just a slightly narrower version of the working man's belt?
