Could we get some non-boring ones? I mean, I'd love one with the mattress-ticking on one the front, and the blue plaid on the back. But single-fabric bowties . . . meh.

sehrgutI'm not sure how you would define non-boring, but this point I would say that it's unlikely that we will drop bowties with more than one fabric. Thanks for asking, though!

I am not keen on this particular set of ties, as they're (to me) a bit too casual, but by all means, please seek others, I'd like to expand my bow tie collection. And the price isn't too out of line; I'd not be inclined to pay $38, but $28 is not too bad for something unique.

cbbrowneIronically, they seem too stodgy to me! I just don't have time for non-reversible ties these days ...
Incidentally, you might like to check out JustBowties on Etsy, and The Cordial Churchman (which runs their own website).

For anyone interested, that doesn't want to pay the high price for just a bow tie; check out http://www.thetiebar.com/ they have a HUGE selection of many different styles, materials, and in most cases you can choose between a self tie, or a pre-tied bow tie. But I've saved the best part for last, almost every tie on their site is only $15! Aside from the few (maybe less than 5% of their inventory) "Designer" bow ties that will set you back usually between $20-$25.
I hope this helps any of you considering trying out this growing fashion trend who don't wish to pay such a high price for a piece of fabric!

SpencerJacksonI have owned many products from The Tie Bar and think they have a good product, especially for the price. For clarification, though, I will say two things:
1. TTB makes ties in large quantities in China; these are made one by one by a single artisan in the US. 2. TTB adds $5.99 for shipping, so ties are $21 if you're buying just one.
Like I said, I like TTB (and own a bowtie from them), I'm just trying to clarify that it's not an apples to apples comparison. If you like TTB's designs and construction, try them out; if you like these, try them instead. Heck, try both! Thanks for the comment.
