Sounds like someone needs to invest in a decent sound card. Heh
It looks nice though, too bad he had some dirty power issues on his computers.
DesastorI had someone test this but the honest results were nothing spectacular. A test sample size of one, and not a very technical person (the bartender at my local watering hole actually). Still, that's all the data I have. If you try it, please let me know how it goes!
AntlionJoeThanks for the info. I have a first class Mic that I had used and had found too much interference due to environmental noises. Sounds like this one does the same. I think what is needed is something that is noise canceling, which for a Mic would require additional electronics, I think. Thanks for the info!!
it say We expect your order to ship by Mon Jun 03 2019, does this mean that the mic will be in my home (FRANCE) around the 03rd of June or does this mean that the mic will ship from Drop.com by the 3rd of June ? ideally if the shippement to my home doesn't go past the 12 of June it would be fantastic
I have a question for anyone who owns this already. I have one I purchased from Amazon before this drop happened and the pics in here seem to show that the arm holding the mic is flexible enough to be bent towards the mouth. My modmic arm feels like a hard plastic not meant to bend. Am I wrong and should I try bending it because as it is right now, the mic doesn't get close enough to my mouth for people to hear me clearly.
On the fence because I'm wondering how well this would fit on a pair of Sennheiser HD202's. Every Youtube video I can find they're on much, much bigger earpieces.
MortemAt this time we have no plans on doing a wireless drop, if that makes any difference. Not saying we'll never do one, but none are planned in the near future.
Modmic's are great but if I were spending the money on a new mic I'd just save myself the hassle and get the modmic wireless. I have a modmic 4 and while it's great the cable drives me insane
HumanBeingThe bright side of the 5 is you can use a shorter cable, but a cable is still a cable :). Our job is to give you the options, you can all pick your favorite flavor of ModMic.
PS: DO NOT EAT THE MODMIC. It has no nutritional value.
HumanBeingAfter 1+ year of using the ModMic 4, the cable is driving me crazy. The wireless is such a great idea, but the price is too steep for me atm. It's also in the same price range as the Yeti, so I have to think about that as well. I hate 1st world problems.
The drop description says this comes with the usb adapter for mac and y-adapter for consoles but it's not listed in the what's included list and not normally part of the modmic 5 bundle, can someone from massdrop confirm what's actually included?
