So final update for this: after two failed attempts to deliver my order for this via DHL I have given up and Massdrop has refunded my money. I have never been more disappointed with Massdrop. This really makes me think twice about ordering things from here in the future.

PaddleMonkeyI also reached to them about the change from dhl to usps and their reply was something like it's not our fault that you pay customs. Well ofcourse it's not your fault and i know it, and i also have given you solutions to help me not pay customs such as marking the box as a gift or other ways chinese dealers use but they don't seem to care if they lose a customer or two. Well that's just a deal-breaker for me and maybe for thousands more of non american customers who support this "community" based marketplace.

SettlerteoI think businesses can get fined for trying to dodge customs. The chinese vendors don't care because they're in china and nothing will happen to them.

whomad1215Can't argue with you but i want proof of what you re saying because on the other hand i can say that they won't get fined. And fined by who? If the help me dodge customs in Greece would they get fined by 'good mama' america? Don't think so. As i said i am not argueing with you and everything i say is in a polite manner. After all, we are all consumers and want the best for us.

whomad1215To help more with the discussion, before the change i used to buy from massdrop and get things by DHL which used the "triangle" shipping and that helped me avoid customs every time.
PaddleMonkeyI mean it’s entirely at the discretion of your border agency thing to charge you duty.
