LucT123Laptops will always be more expensive than a desktop with similar specs. If you account for GPU inflation, this isn't terrible. If you don't account for GPU inflation, then yeah, this is a huge upcharge for laptop that will perform worse than a desktop with similar components, Desktop 1070, 7700k, decent cooler.

LucT123EVGA has had the 1080 based SC17 on their site on sale for $1799 a few times in the past 6 months and an identical version of this one + more RAM for $1399 (with G.Sync) or $1299 (without). Pretty sure they discontinued their models though and had them on fire sale.
