Apogee Dragon FIRE BD1N Chef's Knives
Resilient BD1N Blade, Resin & Micarta Handle
Chop vegetables, mince herbs, trim poultry, or slice through a side of beef all with the same tool with these handy blades. Inspired by a French design, they feature a slimmer profile with a 2.5-millimeter-thick blade, making them easier to maneuver than regular Dragon knives. The knives feature a nitrogen-enriched American BD1N steel blade that has a Rockwell hardness of 63 to maintain its edge. Ergonomically crafted from FDA-approved resin and linen micarta, the handles are both smooth and grippy, and are held together with a stainless steel endcap. At 8.5 inches long, the main knife in the drop is big enough for large cutting jobs, but you can upgrade to the 9.5-inch version for something even bigger.
