Any thoughts on how this would drive some Elac UB5s in a small-ish room? I know they’re pretty power hungry speakers and this isn’t a hugely powerful amp.

erthanYou won't be happy IMO. This is only 6 watts at the most. They'll play probably fine, but won't get loud at all. If that's okay. Try it. But if you like to get loud. Don't do it, unless you plan on buying different speakers in the future. I wasn't even happy with 94db Klipsch KG 3.5's on my 6 watt SET. These are best on single driver full range speakers. The crossover takes all your power on regular speakers.

erthanI really disagree with the other poster. I have this amp and it gets very loud and I have it powering a pair of 88db old jbl speakers.

erthanUB5's trade efficiency for size and bass. They won't pair well with a low powered amp.
