How come there's no images for the output lines, are they standard 5-way binding posts?

chanhuangThis thing only outputs 6 watts per channel. I don't even know of anything you could fully power with this in the first place. Almost any speaker wants at least 10 watts to even make sound.
All i see in these comments is a bunch of people under-driving their speakers and saying it sounds "good" and "tubey".

PigmonkeYYou sir must have very very inefficient speakers. I have a pair of Zu Audio Omen MKII that are very efficient at 96db and run barely 5watts of tube power from a diy amplifier. Volume is more then adequate!!
Additionally your 10 watts minimal to make any sound comment aka sounds like you need to better understand amplification and efficiency. Like 1 watt of power to get 96db of sound measurable. YMMV.

VolvoSpeedV70RNone of my speakers sound very good at all until they have about 20-30 wpc.
Most bookshelves are rated at a floor of 20w, 4 or 8 ohms. Shit, my headphone amp even puts up good numbers compared to this.

PigmonkeYMethinks you've not experienced a set of transducers with an efficiency rating of 102dB @ 2.83V / 1m. That none of your "speakers sound very good at all until they have about 20-30 wpc." confirms VolvoSPeeV70R's comment that "you sir must have very very inefficient speakers."
