Actually I am planning to purchase a new keyword for my PC and Apple wireless keyboard specifications as well as design are great. I really liked it. Thanks for posting such type of info. I didn’t reset my Apple ID but this link https://www.appletechnicalsupportnumbers.com/apple-id-support/ really helped me a lot to resolve my issue.
where are these sourced from? No way massdrop got apple to cooperate for these...
Are these refurbished or completely new?
Shame its not the new rechargeable version.

That's very unfortunate. But battery leaking their juice (( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)) is not common problem as well. Rechargeable batteries have their own share of problems as well. I personally like to have less cable and stick to batteries XD
Same here, except this one is the earlier version of the previous version of the Apple Bluetooth Keyboard. I never owned one of the original version, but I assume the feel is the same. A few keys are different. I've recently picked up a backup copy of this keyboard off of eBay.
I thought massdrop was meant to sell enthusiast keyboards. Not that this is inherently bad, but it seems out of place.
this is the previous model... pretty lame these are still this expensive.
Are these official Apple keyboards or off-brand that look identical?

Well to be fair, the Fry's deal was very limited and not eligible for shipping and the one being offered by MacSales is a used unit. You must be in Washington state? As of right now, the only Fry's that has the MC184LL/B keyboard listed for sale in any form is in Renton, WA. It's also uncertain as to whether they really have special items in stock. I've had and heard of others having mixed results with going to redeem an insanely good deal only to be told when they got there that they couldn't find the item in the store.
I've found one other MassDrop item going for a drastically lower price at Fry's, but under the same conditions. It was only available for direct pick-up and only three locations had it. Someone here tried to go get the item and was told they didn't have any.
Anyway, I just picked up a brand new and sealed MC184LL/B off of an eBay seller for $30. That seems to be a pretty good deal for one that's new-in-box and sealed, but it's pretty easy to find something for around $30 that's used and in excellent condition.
I'm normally a bit of a mechanical keyboard snob, but I'm very fond of this particular Apple keyboard and I now have three of them. Two are stowed away as backups just in case these become harder to come by in the future.
I have a new 2016 MBP with touchbar and I often use this instead of the built in keyboard. I'm ok with the new MBP keyboard and actually like it better than most recent MBP keyboards, but still prefer the Apple Bluetooth Keyboard for extended typing if I'm away from my desk. One nice thing about the touchbar and the flatter keys of the new MBP is that they form the perfect groove to allow you to drop one of these Bluetooth Keyboards right on top without it slipping down during use. You lose a bit of the touchpad, but not enough for it to be a serious hinderance. On my old mid-2012 unibody MBP, I had to tack on foam strips to my MBP to keep the keyboard from sliding down during use.

Yes, I am in Renton, WA. I must have lucked out. I was able to acquire one with no issues. I have a Microsoft BT KB, but prefer the feel of the Apple BT KB better (for work). Wanted a good cheap KB, that if taken, not too much of a hit in the pocket. I am typing on a HHKP2 at home and my fingers thank me. Good to know about the new MBP. Been eyeing those. More than likely will sway to replace my aging MacBook White. Good you were able to get one at a decent price. Nothing worse in buying something you thing was a bargain and finding out the bargain was not a bargain.
