Bringing you patterns and easy-to-follow, detailed instructions for making three distinct garments, the April Rhodes Sewing Pattern 2-Pack lets you make your own clothing without reinventing the wheel.
Note: On this drop, you will receive two patterns: The Staple Dress and The Riding Peplum & Party Dress.
All Rhodes Lead to Fashion
A growing figure in the pattern and fabric designing scene, April Rhodes has a fierce love for sewing and a strong eye for detail. To recreate one of her striking designs, all you need is a few yards of fabric, the pattern, a straight stitch, and a free afternoon. Any of the three designs can be made created if you have three yards of 54" Liberty fabric, but you will require more yardage if you're working with 45" fabric. As both dresses are finished with French seams, you don’t need a Serger or any additional equipment to finish off your fashion.
Change of a Dress
A simple yet flattering cut, the Staple Dress features ease through the bust and hip, elastic shirring at the waist, and a full range of customization options. In the accompanying pictures, our model is wearing a Staple Dress made from Liberty Tana Lawn fabric, a natural combination. The other patterns include both a riding-length peplum to pair with jeans or leggings or a party-length dress for stepping out on the town in style. Both patterns can be completed by novice sewers with ease, but have plenty of room for expert embellishments.
