What happened to this drop? It said there was four days left to order? I get back on to place an order and now it shows as inactive. There was only 8 ordered, so it's not like they sold out!

SpirrevippI am glad I am not the only one confused! Not sure how a drop with four days left and less than ten total items sold ended for no reason. The price finally dropped to where I was comfortable making the investment. Something seems a little shady!

DomenThanks. I appreciate any info you you receive. I'm interested to see what the response is. They didn't have a maximum quantity listed or anything else that would have caused it to end early.

I’m sorry to report that the drop for Armand Nicolet J09 was not successful, which is the drop ended.
Each drop has a minimum number of required participants in order to hit the first price point. If too few people join and that number is not reached by the time the drop ends, the drop is unsuccessful and no orders are placed.

BuysumtimeWord is there was a "miscommunication" between MD and the supplier regarding the pricing and it had to be cancelled.

DomenYeah, sounds made up. It already showed the minimum order was reached. I'm thinking boozed has it right that the pricing was incorrect. All I know is I won't order if the pricing is any higher next time. Thanks for the update!

BuysumtimeStrange. The price as about $400 less than the last drop for this same model less than a year ago, so looked to be a good deal. Wonder if MD will honor the orders placed.

DomenThis is a lie. We had already met the minimum. They cancelled because as boozed said below miscommunication on price. Poor form in my opinion. Either company or massdrop should have eaten cost of mistake for those who had already purchased. Cest la vie

B.P.BSadly neither mass drop nor the company would eat the difference in cost (although they should), both would only pass the cost onto the consumer.
