Silly nonsense--nothing here you couldn't accomplish with any number common shoe care products readily available at any garden variety sporting goods store (or Walmart)! Smarten up--polishing your shoes is not a Lifestyle.
RayFWell, Ray, it may not be a lifestyle, but it certainly is an art. I learned to take good care of my footwear as a young naval officer, fifty years ago. I still haven’t lost the art, and I recommend it most highly to anyone. All the instant wipes, sprays, and stuff you can get at Walmart really aren’t the same as taking good care of your leather.
ravkesefI concur. I spend a lot of time caring for my shoes and boots. My comment was intended to remind our younger, and more easily influenced members that what worked for their grandpa, still works today. Artisan shoe care products are 90% Snake oil.
RayFThank you for clarifying, Ray, and my apologies for jumping to a conclusion. True enough, any quality shoe cream will do the job. Unfortunately, many of the products sold in retail stores cater to the “get it done quickly” mentality. Any good product will nourish leather properly, and I’m sure that this product will do more than an adequate job.
ravkesefNo apologies needed; no offense taken. I've only been with Massdrop a short while and tend to be fairly selective in my purchases, but I do read the comments and questions other members post. Some of the questions lead me to believe there is a pretty significant "Bubble Factor" going on here, which is to say, people need to do more independent research, rather than relying solely on answers provided by members. There are very few products sold here that are not sold and reviewed elsewhere. Read, research, and verify--that's my motto!
