I own a c%#p load of flashlights from all types of brands klarus, olight, nitecore, jetbeam, fenix, eagletac, zebralight, etc.
The things that a majority of these all have in common is that they are all made in china. A majority of these also have very good warranties. 5-10 year etc. The caveat of these warranties is that if something goes wrong with your flashlight/headlamp, you have to send it to the manufacturer and where are most located? China.
So you may be without a flashlight for 2 weeks maybe up to a couple months from the horror stories I've seen on cpf. Im not bashing armytek or anything because its true every brand flashlight/headlamps has its little faults/glitches here and there, so it doesnt matter what brand you buy from. Just be weary of what your getting yourself into.
Also yes its true my zebralight h600w mk.ii is made in china. Its also been through the washer/dryer a couple times because i forgot and left it in the pocket, I also accidently dropped it in an oil drain pan full of used 0w 40 oil while I was changing the oil on my car underneath. Some dawn soap and water cleaned it up nicely. Its also still working currently because I just used it for walking my gsd.

Jimmylsxzebralight is pretty awesome, I have the Sc52 and just ordered the Sc5(500 OTF Lumens from 1 nimh!!) , that's the thing about Armytek, it's deception from every angle! Take the output value of 1200 Led lumens! They are one of the very few left that still use the HIGHER Led lumens instead of standardised ANSI LUMENS!the average person would just see '1200 lumens' and not realise that competing product 'B' with an output of 1000 ANSI (or OTF lumen's) is actually brighter! FYI to get an approximate OTF(out the front) lumens value - subtract 1/3 from the led lumens value. Ie. 1200-1/3=800 OTF Lumens approximately,so as u can see its significantly less than the big 1200 number planted in your face! Look at the Maple leaf on the headband of this head light signifying a Canadian product! I know you could say that other lights are made in China too but other manufacturers don't go out of the way to fool u into thinking that theirs is a truly Canadian product. I forget where I read this but someone said that their life guys are not even exactly designed by them! I think he meant they simply paid someone to design looks guys instead of having their own design team. ( it may have been on BLF I read it his but I'm uncertain)

Blade4uYeah zebralight is great its quickly become one of my favorite brands for edc lights. I slept on them for a while because of the complicated ui at first, though after i got my first one the h600w mk2 and got the hang of the ui, i found out just how useful it is having all the different modes. its quickly become one of my most favorite lights, I also have a sc600, sc62, sc52, I also ordered my sc5 too, your right its an amazing little light for getting li-ion performance out of a nimh . Selfbuilts recent review on the sc5 compared to the sc52 sold me on it.
You're right of the overrated specs I remember a user on BLF reviewed a predator 2.5 pro and the actual testing showed the light was overrated by 200-250 lumens then what really showed through measuring and testing.
The armytek specs isnt whats keeping me away now though. The wizard pro I had gave me a frustrating flicker at low mode and it also whined in the maximum mode it wouldnt stay regulated it would go back and forth. I cleaned the threads on it, didn't fix it for me. I went on cpf to try and find a resolution only to find a few other users experiencing the same problems. I sent it back to GG. The low mode flicker is what did it in for me. Never again.
