Overpriced? Yeah. Crappy? Not at all.
Solid as a rock, doesn't flex even with my tower and everything else I use on it. It's HUGE. Tons of leg room and desk space. The mouse pad surface is nice and doesn't really care if you place drinks or plates on it, it also seems somewhat resistant to spills. (Trust me, I've tried)
The only meh aspect is the cable management, there are 3 different holes for routing which is really nice, but the net under desk really isn't enough. Get yourself some Velcro and cable ties and you'll be golden.
For $279 I'd honestly recommend it. I'm not sure if you'd be able to find a height adjustable desk at this price with as much desk space or features. Keep in mind it is HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE NOT A SIT STAND.
I'd ONLY recommend it at around $300 though. $400 even for a desk as nice as this is insane.
Seriously this is a nice desk. Treat it nicer than I do though. I need to clean up.

CrosshairsHi Crosshairs, thanks for getting back.  Regarding the pad, that's simply not the case. They are proving quite durable and, in any case, we have them available separately on our web site should someone need a replacement.  
I have an original sample we used at E3 last year, so even in its first few days it was heavily used at a trade show by hundreds of people and then it was my everyday desk at our office for seven months.  A couple of coffee stains aside it is almost as good as the day it was first rolled out  Also, some people in our office have used Arena as their office desks for about three months now. Again, getting a lot of continuous daily usage. No issues. 
Just out of curiosity, which Frys store did you see it at? If you're in Southern California you are welcome to come by our office and see the original E3 sample and its condition for yourself.

ArozziScott 9825 Stonecrest Blvd is the Fry's I went to, the pad did look pretty beat up I would defintly be intrested in taking a look at a better kept model, I am in market for a desk when my Arozzi chair ships

CrosshairsWell, if you're ever 150 miles to the north in Camarillo,  please stop by.  One more thing; the pad and the desktop are built to work together, the pad is an integral part of the desk. That's why the surface is not smooth, it is designed along with the slip resistant rubber bottom of the pad to keep the surface as stable as possible.

CrosshairsSorry, there is no black on black combo available now.  I know the red logo looks huge and distracting in the photos but in use it is not so obvious. You can see that in the photo in the post above.

CrosshairsThat's a very interesting question to me.  You mean you ordered an Arozzi chair in a previous drop and you still haven't received it? That does not sound right to me. Which model was it? There have been a few Arozzi chair drops, what dates did it happen?  Please provide as much info as possible  so I can help you out and dig into it and make sure you get your chair from Arozzi.

CrosshairsOK, that's strange.  Arozzi was not responsible for shipping that drop, one of our distributors was. Can you send us an email with your purchase information to service@arozzi.com  and we will follow up and get you your chair. You are correct,  you should have received it within days.

CrosshairsWe will start shipping within two business days of the drop's conclusion and have all units shipped within three days after that.  So, no more than one week total and probably sooner.  BTW, enjoy your Vernazza. I've been using one for a year now :)

I am sure that they can get the distributor to get one out to you ASAP.  I am sorry for the inconvenience.  We will notify the distributor of their error, too.
