XambaWhat sucks, is it could take up to 30 days before I see my money. Never again, I'm going to stick with Amazon.
EDIT: Just got an update from MD themselves, looks like the manufacturing got delayed until December.
EDIT: I'll re-request, but if I see it on Amazon first I might snag it from there, even if it is 50 more bucks.

damagedHello all, we are sorry for the confusion here. Arozzi did not authorize this drop, it was posted without our knowledge by one of our US distributors.  They misunderstood the ETA we were quoting and did not ask for an update before posting and also misunderstood that ocean freight takes about two weeks longer to get to New York than the West Coast.
Basically, the Arena design has been finalized for months but there was a problem with the packaging.  As you know, each unit weighs over 80 pounds without any packaging. To keep the package weight down we decided to ship it in two separate cartons and are doing that in Europe. But several of our US customers told us that their inventory control systems could not work with two boxes being a single Stock Keeping Unit (SKU in retail parlance).  So we had to go back to the drawing board for North America.  After several false starts, we finally came up with a solution in early September.  But even that takes a bit of time because you have to craft prototype cartons and inner packaging to test the whole lot before you can go into production.  The physical drop tests of the final package design were conducted on September 13--I've posted a few of the photos of the test here.
Only once that was completed could we actually start to mass produce and print the packaging and get the assembly line going for the North American orders. The first container left the factory destined to Vancouver on October 12. It is scheduled to arrive today--so, yes, we did miss the October delivery estimate by a few days. The second and third containers, one to our facility in California and another to New Jersey (the one posted for the Drop) left last week and will arrive to us mid-month and to the East Coast at the end of the month.
Again, we are sorry to disappoint you. It is not vapor ware.  It is a great product and, hopefully, most of you will place new orders when it is here.  We appreciate your patience.
