The Arozzi warranty just does not compare to AK Racing. That is one thing that makes me shy away from these chairs. They look nice, but as an adult, you find warranties mean everything.
TempestNiteWhile I understand that feeling, notice that every other brand of gaming chair is either a one year warranty or a two year one. And, also notice, that all warranties just cover defects in materials or workmanship and specifically exclude normal wear and tear. Honestly, 99% of all defects are going to be exposed in the first year or sooner. So the AKRacing warranty while it sounds good is really more of a marketing ploy designed to elicit exactly the sort response you gave. I can assure you that the new Mezzo V2 are a great upgrade from the previous Mezzo line and a real value at the price Massdrop sells them for.

ArozziScottIf 99% of all defects were exposed in the first year or sooner, and if the marketing ploy is effective at all, it would make sense for other companies to follow suit with a longer warranty; however, I understand that the overhead of an extensive warrant from company perspective may cut into the quality of producing a quality product. That said, I am not slandering Arozzi chairs. In reducing the overhead and costs of extending a longer warranty, it may very well be that Arozzi chairs have more quality built in. I do not know to be honest.
Question: Rock and Lock feature available?
TempestNiteYes, I understand. In the end it's just a business decision. Do you think it's worth the extra expense of extending the warranty for a handfull of customers that have a problem? Most companies decide no and, you know, if someone really did have an egregious issue outside of the warranty period we would very likely take of them. And, to add, it's not coincidence that the extended warranty game at retailers for all sorts of goods is so actively pushed. It is almost 100% profit.
No the Mezzo V2 do not have the mechanism that does "rock and lock", the Verona Pro V2 and Vernazza lines do.
