Heads-up: do not buy this chair. My armrest completely snapped off after <3 months (it uses some really cheap plastic to hold the screws in place) and customer support just doesn't respond (been waiting over 3 weeks now). Waste of $$$

BigunApparently they contacted customer support. I'd like to see how this case is handled before I join this drop.

AltruistJust got an update. Apparently the warehouse was super backed up (probably due to the time of year?), but they’ve shipped a replacement armrest. So all good now! Just took a little while

dew2229Things happen, giving customer support a chance to do their due diligence unfortunately is sometimes part of buying a product. Good to hear they got back to you and made on their product's quality. So.... How is the chair?

BigunI'm scared he's been impaled by accidentally sitting on the armrest or something.

avMachine713Oh boy, noticed I haven't been replying! But yes, aside from that one issue with the armrest, the chair has been mostly solid all around. Here are some thoughts:
Seating material seems fairly high end. No wear (had the chair about 4 months now), good stitching, seems like that will hold up for a while (unlike my last $100 chair that held for maybe a year).
Butt padding is sufficient, but if you plan on sitting in the chair for long periods at a time (I use this as my primary office chair, so ~8hrs/day), you may feel a little sore after a while. I got a memory foam pad on Amazon for pretty cheap that I use from time to time when the soreness kicks in, but not always necessary to use.
Lots of adjustable stuff. Height (obviously), lots of armrest positions, headrest and lumbar support, and the chair can lean back pretty far (nice when I'm listening to my new HD6xx's). The lumbar support strap could use a little tightening, as it often falls lower when my back isn't up against it, or rotates slightly off center (annoying, but not a deal-breaker). I find this happens most when I use my memory foam butt pad, since it adds a little height, requiring me to push the lumbar pad higher up.
As for that issue I first spoke of.. yes, the plastic used is pretty cheap. The cosmetic plastic on the sides is fine as it doesn't impact the integrity of the chair (still kind of cheap, but looks ok). It's the plastic in the arm rest that concerns me. Careful with the pressure you put on the front or back of the armrest (try to ensure heavy pressure is evenly distributed). I don't recall putting too much pressure on it, but the screws ripped right out of the back; the plastic holding the screws in was beyond repair. I ended up contacting customer support (as I mentioned above). Super friendly person helped me out; however, I had not received the replacement armrest for a while. I follow-up in emails and got zero-response. Turns out, once they send the replacement request to the warehouse, the customer service rep stops receiving my emails (the company really needs to fix that...). Only when I submitted a new issue ticket on the website did I get a follow-up response. They said the warehouse had been backed up, and they pushed my replacement to the top of the list. Within a week from that new issue ticket I had my new armrest, and the chair is as good as new! Just wish it didn't take well over a month to get it in the first place.

dew2229Thanks for the follow up, glad to see you're alive haha. Think you may have convinced me, since I'm like 130lbs I hope I won't break the armrests.
