I see that the pro model holds more weight, but is there any other difference between the Verona and the pro model? Also, what exactly is different on the pro that allows it to hold more weight?

ChainalinkIt has a different mechanism. So that allows it to hold more weight, It is also what allows it to be locked into different rocking positions. In other words you can tilt both the seat and back together up to 12 degrees and lock it. The regular Verona you can only lock the backrest.
