Since I haven't seen a substantial review of the bag, I'll just do a write-up myself if this ever Drops again for people looking for more information. Also, I put in some detail shots of the bag I got (Brown Waxed Twill) and if it does Drop again, I highly recommend this bag as part of your EDC.
The bag itself is somewhat shaped like a trapezoid with a wider bottom than top.
The Leather All leather materials used are thick and sturdy though some parts crease more than others (like the strap). The handle is sturdy and does not droop the sides of the bag if carried in that manner. The bottom of the bag is made of both the waxed cotton twill and an additional and thick leather layer for durability. You adjust the length of the strap by slotting in holes, not unlike a waist belt.

The Waxed Cotton Twill The Waxed Cotton Twill is also exceptionally strong and substantial to the touch. Its thickness is akin to if you folded denim two to three times. It doesn't wrinkle as much and is largely water-resistant. I haven't owned the bag long enough to judge if it will last for life (or at least a few decades of use), but the build quality gives me confidence.
Brass Hardware The bag closes with a press-on closure. However, instead of pressing on the entire bag to close it, the leather section where the button stud is attached in is only sewn in on the top and bottom. This means you can close the bag without crushing the contents by slipping a finger in the space between the leather and bag.
The brass hardware in the strap and hook are thick and sturdy with an appealing aged look.

Other Notes It's tempting to overload the bag given the amount of space but I discourage it; while the strap is thicker in the middle, it's not sufficiently padded to prevent shoulder pain with long periods of carry.
Suffice to say, I've never owned anything handmade and to hold in your hands something made with such care is amazing. It feels like I inherited an heirloom, back when handmade products were the norm before mass-production lowered quality to maximize volume. Having been recently drawn to the "Buy it Once, Buy it for Life" philosophy of prudent purchase, this bag fills the space for "something to have daily adventures with".
Note: After this drop ended, Artifact's shop now only lists 3 options for their bags, out of the original 6. Temper your expectations accordingly.

ludwigtheholybladeWe're really glad you're enjoying your bag. We couldn't agree more -- the built on the Artifact Bag products are really standout and the finishing on each item is truly great.

ludwigtheholybladeThanks. Very nice pictures and review. I like the zoomed in pics of the leather.
I would have pulled the trigger on the black one but I am saving for a new vehicle in two years. This does look like a buy it for life bag though.
