Artisan Hornet D2 Folding Knife
A Quick-Opening Piercer in 5 Styles
Like an old-school switchblade, the Artisan Hornet is quick to open and exceptional at piercing. While it can’t open quite as fast as a switchblade, it certainly comes close. That’s thanks to its ceramic ball bearing washer system and flipper tab. Flared edges—one for the flipper and one for a finger guard, resemble a sword’s hilt. D2 steel is used for the blade, which features a double grind (with just one sharpened edge) to emphasize the razor-sharp look. The handle comes in many different styles, five of which are offered here. Go for G-10 as the base option, curved G-10 for a fuller feel in the hand, or carbon fiber for a sophisticated spin. All options support the steel pocket clip on the right or left side. For added functionality, there’s a glassbreaker on the pommel as well.
