The Artisan Cutlery Ravine is designed for tough cutting tasks. The somewhat unbalanced shape is weighted towards the blade. Ergonomically, that makes it excellent for a forward grip. There’s also a slight V shape where the blade meets the handle, which makes a great resting place for a thumb. Though the blade is only 2.8 inches long, it’s tall and thick, allowing you to put some power behind it when chopping and slicing through stubborn material. It also comes in your choice of steel, starting with D2 all the way up to M390 on the high end. As for handle materials, there are three: G-10, carbon fiber, or titanium. Depending on the version you choose, you’ll either get a stainless steel or titanium clip to match.
