I bought the kit despite the B key not having the STX command. I don't know how i'll survive. /s Guess i'll do like the old timers and simply put a sticker on it ^_^;

I bought some of these awhile ago through KBDFans and while the quality of the caps is ok, the profiling is terrible. The row setup makes absolutely no sense and is a terrible typing experience.

SA Godspeed was 1-1-2-3-4-3, IIRC, which is most common for SP SA sets. I've seen 1-1-2-3-4-4 and 2-2-3-3-3-3 on other SA sets, but never what's described here. In pics, this looks more like 2-2-2-3-4-3. I can't see the top row differing from the next.
All my descriptions start at the top and go down.

tw000I have the set and can confirm that the numbers row is an odd profile. It causes a feeling of having to "reach" to get to the numbers row, because they feel hidden behind the QWERTY row.

It is a beautiful set and I like SA profiles - the chunky weight of each keycap is a great thing. But in terms of raw typing speed, I'm noticeably faster on DSA profiles than on SA. Too many years of typing on laptops, maybe? Regardless, I put this set on an old Das keyboard I have and use it at work (with my new CTRL keyboard at home) and they look great (IMO) even with the ugly piano-black plastic case of the Das.

I do enough wth ASCII codes that I would’ve loved for each keycap to actually have its respective ASCII code. Wouldn’t it be neat to just glance down and say “Oh, that letter is xx in ASCII!” Bonus points for putting it in hex, too.

BadMinotaurNo code on the caps for B (STX), H (BS), I (TAB), J (LF). Looks unbalanced.
Drop/KBDfans, please don't randomly leave out parts of the ASCII table control code table!...
(...and yes, hex sub-legends could have been icing on the cake! Although for the ctrl or upper/lower alphas and/or numerics?)

Does anyone else has wobbly keycaps?
Almost all of the bottom row keys are wobbly to the point that they are falling if i press the buttons hard a few times. And i'm not even mentioning the warped space bar.

and8I added o-rings to cushion the downstroke (though they still audibly clack upon reaching full elevation on the reset) because I grew up on cheap membrane keyboards and reflexively punch the snot out of keys to ensure they register. Without that o-ring, my typing would be intolerable for other people to listen to. At any rate, I kept having this experience where the 'b' key would bounce right off its Cherry MX post routinely. I thought maybe the plastic was malformed, but in the end it turned out it was just that I had failed to fully seat the o-ring.
Now all of my keycaps from this set are well-anchored and perform as expected, even with the abusive way I tend to type.
