Made by Ashland Leather Company, which was founded by two longtime employees of Chicago’s legendary Horween Leather Company, the Louis “Little New York” wallet is ideal as a slim front-pocket billfold. It’s as tough, stylish, and imposing as its namesake: Louis Campagna, once the personal bodyguard of Al Capone. Designed with an asymmetrical fold, it features one card-size pocket that can accommodate between two and four cards, plus one larger pocket for folded cash and additional cards.

Renowned for its durability, smooth texture, and rich color, Chromexcel is the original pull-up leather from Horween, which has been making it for more than a century. From cured hide to usable leather, Chromexcel takes nearly a month to produce.
Pioneered in the Middle Ages by the Moors, shell cordovan is today most commonly associated with Horween. It comes from the fibrous flat muscle, or shell, taken from a specific part of a horse’s hide. Over the course of 6 months, this super-durable leather undergoes an extensive process that includes tanning, stuffing, shaving, polishing, and coloring—all by hand.
