At just 1.7 inches long and 0.5 inches wide, the Astrolux M01 is no bigger than a Jolly Rancher—but it pumps out an impressive 100 lumens. Thanks to its O-ring construction and stainless steel body, it’s IPX-7 waterproof and 2-meter impact resistant Read More
I have several. Wanted to give them as a presents. But I'm happy I decided to try one of them at first by myself. Very low quality. So I have one unusable, one after some dealing wiht it can be used and two just seat in drawer because I can't give something like this as a present.
P.S. The price I paid was lower by much.
So after having the light for exactly a month from arrival it has finally been thrown into the trash. The O rings were not helping much to keep the top in place when turned off. The top would actually come undone and fall off. I manage to have caught it on multiple occasions but today the light won't stay off until I almost take off the top. And at times this flashlight would not stay on the low setting or even turn on when twisted to the high setting. Note for all future purchasers. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS FLASH LIGHT. ITS NOT WORTH THE WAIT.
Mine is not working properly. It flickers and intermittently does not turn on when the head is twisted. 2 months of waiting only to get a defective item. This drop has been a disaster from the beginning.
Well, I just discovered that the light is shipped with a piece of tape covering the rear of the battery. Given that no instructions were included, I didn't think to check on this until I finally removed the battery to measure the voltage. Once the tape was removed, the light works normally.
Mine finally came in today. Very cool light, but one of the two that I ordered is completely dead (the Nichia one). Massdrop, can I get a replacement?
I figured it out, one of the flashlights, there is no spring there! So the battery never makes contact to charge and operate. :-(
Other people should check for the spring if yours is not working.
Looks like the vendor is really screwing Massdrop over. I wonder if we are actually going to receive our orders or if MD is going to just refund our money...
