What is going on here? I look at the description and first thing I notice is that they say the driver in this light is made by Weight? His name isn't weight it's Wight from BLF. If your getting M01 from Banggood and you are expecting this S41S and they give you a refund of $25 that's because today I just looked they are selling for $17 USD First the knurling is way to sharp for me and they heat transfer on stainless steel is something else, so right now you can buy this head for about this price and use the tubes and switches from either the BLF A6 or Astrolux S1 which also comes with a 18350 tube, that shorty tube and this head makes a nice small pocket carry light. Makes the light much lighter and the heat transfer on aluminum is much more manageable. I can and can not believe they are shipping M01 when you thought you were buying this S41S, is that for real? Wow, big big big big difference in lights, almost like impossible to make a mistake like that, and frankly I'd ask for a complete refund in they sent you a M01, they will give it to you, I deal with this company all the time. Google BLF S41S and see what pops up.. ha ha, I do feel sorry for you folks and this also speaks volumes for Mass Drop in my not so humble opinion and I think this will be it for me if they can't get this right, just as soon as I get my Lumintop, that was a good price.. Good luck Friends.. Oh ya, Google BLF A6 or Astrolux S1 for those tubes and when you get to Banggood website just search for either Astrolux the head is $32 right now and aluminum tube is $3.29 or look for the Astro S41 which is just black bezel but quad leds and try ASTROS41 as a code in your cart, OK I better stop now before I piss of Mass dump.. By the way there is a link just below this post and if I were you I'd follow that link for absolute fact..!!

GHB1Weight? LOL. Yeah, wight designed the circuit and I made the firmware. Neither of us knew the S41 existed until it went up for purchase; it just reuses the BLF-A6 driver in a new host. The initial batch had some issues, too, like having + and - reversed on the MCPCB so that it could potentially short the battery to itself. After people complained, they started wiring it opposite of how it's labelled, so that a short would only put the light in its highest mode instead.
Anyway, massdrop isn't really going to get a lower price than what banggood offers on a regular basis. These things are already pretty much bottomed out.

ToyKeeperHi TK, Yes that was quit funny for me to see Wight spelled Weight, oh boy. I didn't buy into those first messed up S41S lights the all SS, but did buy the earlier aluminum S41 and it worked great, I think BG changing manufacturers had something to do with all the issues, I did see the mistakes in the first batches of the S41S heads and couldn't believe it, heard rumors something was wrong so just watched and waited, then bought the new head when sold individually after all the issues were fixed and used them on the alum bodies of the A6 and Astro S1 and skipped all the heavy SS, glad I did, SS heat transfer is not so great but the alum worked out just fine for me, and yes I don't think I'd be stepping out to far to say that it was You, Wight, Wells that for the most part took flashlights to another complete level, mostly thanks to your UI's, Your UI's are used in nearly everything I own and build, there's nothing better IMHO. Oh by the way, I am also that idiot who commented on Amazon a long time ago now, that the designer for the UI in the A6 was obviously one smart guy, Well shortly after I get a email notice someone replied to my comment on Amazon, it said "What makes you think I'm a guy".? I think I could barely type out "I'm sorry" and just buried my head in my desk and felt really stupid, Being I am an older PERSON, I still struggle with social media at the group, so that was a huge learning lesson from you to me and now I am always mindful to be gender neutral in all my comments, all thanks to you, plus I have some killer lights with awesome UI's again thanks to your hard work, thank you. You are the queen of all things with a UI you are just the best hands down, Take care TK..!
