First of all, I'm replying to your post because I knew you won't react in a negative way (e.g. I don't want to feed the trolls, so I'm replying to you). You're a user who consistently provides positive feedback and I respect that. This response is really for the community as a whole, however.
It's so sad that such a wonderful community like what we usually have here on Massdrop is tarnished by people who act so negatively and condescendingly towards others. This should be a place where we build each other up, and support each other's interests. Why would anyone rain on someone else's parade?
I don't want to point fingers, as there are multiple people guilty here, just as in similar situations in other communities. I think Massdrop is doing a lot of good things by catering to people's interests, this drop included. But I don't understand why people would ruin each other's days by making such judgments as I have seen here.
Maybe I seem a bit optimistic and naive, but I wish we could all be kind to one another.

Having a laugh matey, if someone takes offence to my comment I understand why - that said if I saw someone with a fidget spinner in real life I couldn't give less of a damn.
