Hello,
I have enjoyed the pen for about 4 months or so. And recently the top has not been staying on once fastened. I am not sure if the screw threads have given out or if I just got a defective pen. But long and short of it is the top will not stay on and I can no longer take it in my bag or pocket. Is this common with this design? Otherwise it's a fun, weighty pen to use and fidget with.

xdzcThe answer to your question is largely based on what types of pens you use on a day to day basis. I wouldn't use the word "heavy" so much as "weighty" to describe the Stainless Steel Pen. If you normally use plastic bodied pens, you might say the pen is heavy, but if you use fountain pens or other machined pens regularly, then this pen won't feel particularly heavy at all. Whatever weight it does have is well balanced, so that the writing experience is quite effortless.

Received. This might have the smoothest threading of any of my machined pens. Impressive weight too.
