Altantic may not be as popular as other mid- range Swiss watches, but it is still of good quality. I think it's a good investment if u plan to sell down the road...I am now looking at a few vintage Altantics made in the 70s, their prices easily at more than $200, thats after 40 years...
Then just like many others Swiss Made watches...saying the least (people don't know the brand). But, it doesn't mean you can only have a Rolex for brand recognition and of good value. Like Grand Seiko has superior mechanical underpins, but some still view it as a regular Seiko. Bttm line, get what u like.
Yes, always buy what you like. What I meant was I like knowing I have a watch most people wouldn't recognize. I have been to places were most people were wearing the same datejust. Atlantic is more unique Here in the US, and that's a plus for me.
