Altantic may not be as popular as other mid- range Swiss watches, but it is still of good quality. I think it's a good investment if u plan to sell down the road...I am now looking at a few vintage Altantics made in the 70s, their prices easily at more than $200, thats after 40 years...

I am saying its value will go up in future; unlike most consumer goods once it is bought its value drops significantly...

JojosenAnother plus is that you will go a long time before seeing this brand on someone else's wrist.

Omegaman68Then just like many others Swiss Made watches...saying the least (people don't know the brand). But, it doesn't mean you can only have a Rolex for brand recognition and of good value. Like Grand Seiko has superior mechanical underpins, but some still view it as a regular Seiko. Bttm line, get what u like.

JojosenYes, always buy what you like. What I meant was I like knowing I have a watch most people wouldn't recognize. I have been to places were most people were wearing the same datejust. Atlantic is more unique Here in the US, and that's a plus for me.
