With the ETA 2824-2 movement this watch would have represented an insane value proposition. Even with the Sellita movement, which is less costly, it is still a very good deal for a nice looking dress Swiss watch. If I were in the market for a dress watch, this would be very tempting indeed.

DCullenVThe SW200-1 movement is, as far as I know, almost an exact clone of the ETA 2824-2. The cost is in part because the Swatch group is trying to limit production/availability of ETA ebauches moving forward.

DCullenVAnd from what I know - ETA used to farm out production of some of their movements to Sellita. There's probably one one or two pieces that are different between the two to avoid patent infringement.
