Kind of irritated with the inflated MSRP Massdrop's claiming. They're worse than Amazon with this kind of thing, just makes it look sketchy.
In any case, Watch Time (US watch magazine) shows an MSRP of $495 for the stainless models and $523 for the gold plated models. So...it seems like a decent deal, just not as massive a deal as Massdrop would lead people to believe.

YankeeBravoWe truly work with the MSRP list price given to us directly from the vendor. I understand your frustration and by no means do we intent to deceive our community members with deals that are not as good as they seem.

YankeeBravoHey man if you look around online this watch is pretty hard to find on a reputable site and generally way more expensive... I really do not think this is a bad deal and clearly massdrop is all about saving us money; just look how cheap they've gotten sarbs in the past . Best, Kev

YankeeBravoMSRP is determined by the manufacturer, not MassDrop or Amazon. For example, Orient's MSRP is what they sell on their website, but EVERY other website sells for 30-50% less. Originally jewelry stores would have tags with the MSRP, then pretty much ALWAYS have a 30% sale going on with the strategy being to encourage Joe six pack who stumbled in to buy now before the sale ends.
What is nice is that companies such as Orient frequently do sales (I think the current one is 35%), so one can often get a decent price from the company store if the model you want sells out everywhere else (common with Orient).
Overall the problem you have is with the manufacturer, not MassDrop. I always reference Amazon when checking the prices.
