The Worldmaster 1888 GMT by Atlantic, established that year in Switzerland, pays homage to one of the company’s earliest best sellers. Its most notable feature is the inner chapter ring that gives the watch its name. Originally used to aid aviators and pilots, Greenwich Mean Time (or “GMT”) helps you track time in two different time zones. Use the secondary red hour hand, operated by pulling out the semi-onion crown, to change the time in one-hour increments up to 24 hours.
Note: At checkout, choose between the 52756.41.25S, 52756.41.65S, and 52756.41.65SM models. Quantities are limited for each model.
Also noteworthy are the applied Arabic numerals, which appear at even-numbered hour positions, and the large applied stick markers, which appear at odd-numbered hour positions. The Worldmaster is fitted with ETA 2893-2, an automatic Swiss movement. It allows for a date function, positioned at 3 o’clock, that can be set by way of the crown. It’s also water-resistant up to 50 meters.
