I like the champagne dial—too bad it's sold out. The quantities are indeed quite limited.
The Atlantic brand seems to be a fairly nice make, but if you're going to buy an ETA 2824-2 movement —and that's not a negative criticism, but a note—then you might go for a Hamilton or some other comparable watch. I've got three Hamiltons, all with 2824-2 works, and they're all great, and for around the same price. Right now, I seem to be seeing comparable Hamiltons, with comparable movements, for lesser prices.
Still, I'd like to hold one of these Atlantics myself, just to consider the fit and finish. I'm sure they run well.

highbobTo make sure I understand your point better, are you saying this because objectively speaking the quality and finish of Hamiltons is better than Atlantic as you've had both brands at same price point in the hands, or is it exclusively based on brand visibility and reputation?
I personally really like the design of Atlantic watches, heard they are of very good quality, that the brand is considered luxury in many Eastern European countries. And, not wanting to have wall my watches from the same brand in my collection, I wouldn't consider Hamilton other than for an aviation watch. In example I know they do decent and affordable diver watches, but at the same price point I'd rather go with Seiko, which has more of a "diver" history. And for a dress watch, I'd definitely chose Atlantic over Hamilton as a brand, if similar or at least comparable quality. Just for the sake of having some variation in my collection in terms of brands, countries of origin, heritage, etc...
