Can anyone recommend a Mid-Range pair of Bluetooth Headphones that are not astronomically expensive? I can't justify $450 just for casual use. Thanks!

maheeTHANK YOU mahee!
Originally $400. Currently about $250-300. On sale for $149. Arriving this week. I don't pretend to expect these to be reference-quality. But they will be far superior to the Bluetooth buds I use now. Much appreciated.

glennacI use the Sony XB950N1 Extra Bass, but this noise cancelling version has seen a $70 price hike since I bought them. The XB950B1 has also seen a price jump, but is only around $180, same thing just without the noise cancelling. These are bass focused, but have a bass boost button that you can turn it on and off. Also have a good battery life.
As with any headphones, using them with a decent equalizer can adjust the sound stage to your liking. I would however say they are more tight and bass focused than say an Audio Technica product (which are typically intended to be impartial for musicians).
You might want to look at some of Sony's and Sennheiser's other products. And as I would always suggest for any over the ear headphones, replacing the ear pads are a must. I recommend the Brainwavz Angled Memory Foam Earpad. They will be oval shaped, and the Sony's will be round. They will still fit as they aren't rigid and will make a huge difference in comfort. HUGE.

glennacAudio-Technica ATH-DSR7BT - the little brother of this model. Watch for them to go on sale–I bought them in December for $120 at Best Buy, though I haven't seen them as cheap since then. The sound is stunning and the build quality is good–I compare them to Sony MDR-1000X and WH1000XM2 with known headband cracking issues. As with the DSR9s, the DSR7s aren't exaggerated at the low or high ends. The sound signature is more neutral with some warmth and sophistication.
However, there are some things you should be aware of, both with the DSR7 & DSR9–neither offer multi-point pairing, though they can "remember" up to 8 devices. If you're going to use these with multiple devices you have to disconnect from each divide before connecting to another. Even if you're using NFC, you can't force connect to a different device first. This could be a good thing if the device that you want to use at the moment is the last one that you used and it just automatically pairs. But if that's not the case it can be a little frustrating, or it has been for me.
The Bluetooth range isn't as far as other BT headphones and it's mostly line of sight–again, I was comparing to the Sonys, which are amazing in this respect. The 15-hour battery life isn't on-par with many other BT headphones.
BUT, kept them and returned both Sonys for the sound! For me, this was far more important than BT range, battery life, lack of cool interface abilities (ALA Sony). The sound is multi-layered and rich and the soundstage invites you into its midst. Both Sonys sounded compressed in comparison and the soundstage sounded like you were listing from the outside in. They couldn't touch the Audio-Technicas.
I can only imagine how much better the DSR9s sound compared to my DSR7s. I wish that I had known some of the information above when deciding to buy these–I would have still bought them though.
Hope this was helpful.

maheeI wouldn't buy the Ziks. The pad's seams are glued rather than stiched, so if you sweat at all while wearing these, they'll eventually come apart. If you're out of warranty, great, because you can buy replacements while they still sell them; if your warranty is still valid, good luck dealing with their support. Plus, they're pretty heavy, so you're going to feel the hard-af headband pressing into your skull during a long session.
