Hello, I just joined, primarily for the audiophile products. Looking at purchasing the NHT C3 speakers for our new living room. Space is about 15 feet wide by 33 long and they will fire long ways. Space is just for general listening, music room with all equipment is downstairs, so hoping they will fill it with sound nicely. Cheers.

Can be found around $150-200 nowdays. Best so far if u don't need NC. 1000x both I and II using same drivers.
Originally $400. Currently about $250-300. On sale for $149. Arriving this week. I don't pretend to expect these to be reference-quality. But they will be far superior to the Bluetooth buds I use now. Much appreciated.
Be ware though..wife or girlfriend might take it away from you
As with any headphones, using them with a decent equalizer can adjust the sound stage to your liking. I would however say they are more tight and bass focused than say an Audio Technica product (which are typically intended to be impartial for musicians).
You might want to look at some of Sony's and Sennheiser's other products. And as I would always suggest for any over the ear headphones, replacing the ear pads are a must. I recommend the Brainwavz Angled Memory Foam Earpad. They will be oval shaped, and the Sony's will be round. They will still fit as they aren't rigid and will make a huge difference in comfort. HUGE.
However, there are some things you should be aware of, both with the DSR7 & DSR9–neither offer multi-point pairing, though they can "remember" up to 8 devices. If you're going to use these with multiple devices you have to disconnect from each divide before connecting to another. Even if you're using NFC, you can't force connect to a different device first. This could be a good thing if the device that you want to use at the moment is the last one that you used and it just automatically pairs. But if that's not the case it can be a little frustrating, or it has been for me.
The Bluetooth range isn't as far as other BT headphones and it's mostly line of sight–again, I was comparing to the Sonys, which are amazing in this respect. The 15-hour battery life isn't on-par with many other BT headphones.
BUT, kept them and returned both Sonys for the sound! For me, this was far more important than BT range, battery life, lack of cool interface abilities (ALA Sony). The sound is multi-layered and rich and the soundstage invites you into its midst. Both Sonys sounded compressed in comparison and the soundstage sounded like you were listing from the outside in. They couldn't touch the Audio-Technicas.
I can only imagine how much better the DSR9s sound compared to my DSR7s. I wish that I had known some of the information above when deciding to buy these–I would have still bought them though.
Hope this was helpful.
