limgravityPersonally, I like separating the headphones/speakers with amp and separate the amp with the dac whenever possible. That way I can swap out the pieces I don't like instead of getting rid of the whole unit which I did. I owned the A5+ but sold it after half a year because I found the USB input to be a bit lacking compared to plugging in to the Schiit Bifrost via RCA plugs. I also prefer tube sounds from my Maverick Audio A1 as well, so I can't just use the A5+ as a passive speaker (or at least one of the side I can't.) The A5+ speaker drivers themselves are really good though. That's why I actually sold my A5+ and got P4 to pair with the combo of equipment I prefer. I prefer to mix and match.

limgravityI use it in about a 150 sq ft room with 8 ft ceiling. Sounds like it fills the room quite well. So depending on room size. It will definitely do well in a condo sized bedroom. Tried Rokit 5 in the room but didn't like that I have right to sit in front of speakers to get the best sound

spikyfuguI was tempted by the A5+ drop that just ended, but I kind of feel the same way about the versatility of a separate amp. Now I'm looking at the N22 and P4, which are about the same price shipped (assuming they meet their targets). This of course opens up the P4 to a ton of competition: Klipsch RB-41 II, Cambridge Audio S30, PSB B4, and many others. The bamboo looks really nice, though, and the P4 is a nice size for my intended use on the desktop.
